She needs a comfortable foster home while continuing treatment. Foster Care Plan: - Give prescribed doxycycline for her URI and cefpodoxime for her skin infection as directed. - Give medicated baths with the provided medicated shampoo twice a week. - Keep Abigale separate from other dogs while recovering from URI. - Monitor her appetite, energy, coughing, and skin. Let our team know about new or worsening symptoms. - Return for a skin recheck and review of her pending skin test in one week. Our medical team will confirm the appointment and discuss any changes to her care plan. We'll provide medication, supplies, and care instructions at pickup. A skin test is still pending, so her treatment plan may be adjusted once results are available.
