Hi, I’m Daisy! I’m a sweet, affectionate girl who loves being around my people and would be happiest in a home where I can be part of the action. I can be quite the cuddle bug, but I also have a playful, goofy side! I love exploring the yard, playing, and using my brain to solve fun games. Treats are exciting, and I know how to sit, sometimes come when called, and wait patiently for my “yes” before eating. I’m also a pro at using a doggie door! I’m a social girl who gets excited to meet new people and other dogs, both big and small. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them. I enjoy being around kids, too, but I can get overexcited and play too roughly, so I would do best in an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teens who can respect my boundaries. I need a family who understands that I’m still learning how to keep my excitement under control. I’m still working on my housetraining, so I’ll need a patient guardian who can stick to a consistent routine and help me learn to let them know when I need to go outside. Crate training is also a work in progress. Being alone can be hard for me because I love my people so much, but my guardian has been helping me practice and build confidence. Walks can be a little challenging for me, especially when I’m walking by myself, but I do better when I have other dogs to follow. I especially love brain games, so I’d be thrilled to have a family who enjoys teaching me new things and keeping my mind busy. I can get carried away during playtime, and I do best with clear rules, structure, and gentle guidance to help me make good choices. I have so much love to give, and I’m looking for a family who will appreciate my sweet side while helping me work through the things I’m still learning.
