Deuce’s Compatibility: Dogs - Meet & Greet Cats - Looking for a feline-free home Kids - Yes, 6 and up For a guy named after a tennis score, Deuce has zero interest in tennis balls. What he does love is people! He’s a silly, social sweetheart who politely asks for affection, and when you give him some love, his whole body goes soft. Our grooming volunteer said it best: this boy has an amazing, loving heart. Deuce is a big guy with big feelings, and when he gets excited to see you, he sometimes forgets his manners and jumps up to say hi. A fun training class together would help him learn a calmer hello, and it’s a great way to bond. We love positive-based training, and we’re happy to share a list of recommended trainers. Shelter life has been really hard on Deuce. All the noise and busyness stress him out, but once he’s outside in the fresh air, he settles down almost right away. That tells us he’s more than ready for a calm, cozy home of his own. If there’s a dog at home, bring them along to HSHC and our team will help with the hello to see if they click. Come see Deuce at HSHC. We have a feeling it could be a match.
