Norbert’s Compatibility: Dogs - Picks his pals carefully Cats - He’d love a kitty-free castle Kids - Yes, kiddos 6 and up! Meet Norbert, a big, handsome grey guy who turns into a full-on seal the second his ears fold back, and you will absolutely catch yourself wanting to toss him a fish. Lucky for you, he’s a lot easier to keep than a seal. He’s crate trained, and his last family told us he never had a single accident in the house. He adores people and will lean right in for pets, usually with a sneaky kiss on the cheek. Hellos get him so excited that his manners can’t always keep up, but he has a solid foundation and would love an adopter who enjoys keeping his training going with positive methods. Norbert likes calm, sniffy walks without many other dogs around, so a house in a quieter spot suits him better than apartment life. If you have a pup at home, bring them to HSHC to meet him, and our team will help with the introduction to make sure it’s a good fit. A good chew and a warm spot beside you on the couch is all it takes to make his night. Come say hello at HSHC and see if this big guy earns your seal of approval!
