About Hope

Meet Hope — A Little Patience, a Lot of Love Hope’s story is just beginning. She came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about her past, but we do know that she has so much potential to blossom with the right person by her side. Hope can be very nervous when meeting new people, and she may not show her sweet side right away. Don’t be surprised if she isn’t ready for pets or affection during your first meeting. She needs time to feel safe and learn to trust, and she’ll do best with someone who understands that building a bond can’t be rushed. But once Hope gets to know you? That’s when the magic happens! Her silly, affectionate personality starts to shine, and you’ll discover a playful girl who loves having fun with her favorite people. Hope is also a work in progress on leash. She can pull and dart quickly to the end of the leash, so her future family should be prepared to work patiently with her on her walking skills. Hope is looking for a kind, understanding adopter who will let her settle in at her own pace, celebrate the little victories, and give her the time she needs to feel at home. She may need a little longer to come out of her shell, but the connection you build along the way will be worth it. Could you be the person who gives Hope the fresh start she deserves? Hope is a special paws adoption, which means they do have medical needs that need tending to. They have a stage B2 right-sided heart disease, but because of this, their adoption fee is totally up to you ($30 admin fee still applies)!
