Meet Rian! (Pronounced Ryan) Rian is a distinguished XL senior gentleman who is looking for a place to spend his golden years. Through no fault of his own, this sweet older guy found himself back in need of a home. Rian can be a bit standoffish when meeting new people and will need someone who understands that trust takes time, especially when it comes to handling. He's not the type to rush into a friendship, but once you've earned his trust, you'll get to see his sweet, goofy side shine! Don't let his age fool you, though! Rian still has some pep in his step and enjoys letting his playful side out with a few toys. He's got a little fun left in those senior bones! Rian has previously lived with cats and did well with them. He has also lived with another dog in the past, but any potential canine roommate would need to be exceptionally respectful, with introductions done very slowly and thoughtfully. Rian is looking for a patient, understanding home that will let him settle in at his own pace, respect his boundaries, and love him for the wonderful older gentleman he is. In return, you'll get a sweet, silly companion who just needs a little extra time to show you his heart.
