Meet Ace! Looking for a sweet, loyal, larger-than-life companion? Meet Ace, a handsome German Shepherd with all the classic Shepherd qualities! Ace is a very sweet guy who loves having a person to call his own. Like many German Shepherds, he is intelligent, active, alert, and full of personality. He enjoys the company of other dogs and has previously lived with another dog. With proper introductions, he may enjoy having a canine companion again! Ace does have a few things his future family should be prepared to work on. He is a VERY strong boy on leash, so his adopter will need to be physically capable and committed to continuing his leash training and helping him develop better walking manners. He is also known to bark when unfamiliar people enter the home, making him a typical Shepherd who likes to keep an eye on his surroundings! Ace can also be protective of his resources around other dogs, so thoughtful management and supervision will be important, especially around food, toys, and other valued items. This active boy will need a home that can provide daily exercise, mental stimulation, and continued training to keep his mind and body happy. A family who understands the German Shepherd breed and is willing to give him the structure, guidance, and activity he needs would be ideal. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal, active companion and are ready to help Ace be the very best version of himself, he might just be your guy!
