MEET STUART LITTLE! Tiny body. HUGE heart. ?????????????????????? How can you look at this little face and not fall in love? ??Stuart is a 9-month-old Maltipoo weighing 5.5 pounds, but this little guy has already been through more than any puppy should. ??Stuart came into animal control as a stray weighing only 3.4 pounds. He was a tangled, matted and underweight little mess when he arrived. But with some love, good food, care and TLC, Stuart is blossoming into the happy little puppy he was always meant to be. ?? And his personality? Absolutely adorable! ?? Loves everyone—including kids ?? Loves to snuggle?? Loves playing with toys ?? Loves playing with other dogs ?? Has the funniest, quirkiest little bark ?? Tiny at 5.5 pounds, but BIG on personality! ??WHY STUART LITTLE? We named him Stuart Little because the heart of Stuart’s character is so fitting for this little guy: “It’s not the size of the mouse, but the size of his heart.” ???????????????????? Stuart may be a little guy facing a big world, but he does it with courage, kindness, loyalty and a wonderful sense of adventure. ??And that is exactly who our Stuart is. ?? ??He doesn’t need someone to focus on where he started. ??He needs someone who will look at this tiny boy and see the enormous heart inside him—and love him for all the adventures still ahead. ??Stuart Little will be available after Oct 12th?? ??BEFORE YOU APPLY?? When adopting a young dog, we ask families to consider the dog’s age in relation to their own. This isn’t about excluding people based solely on age. It’s about making thoughtful, lifelong matches. ??Small dogs like Stuart can live well into their teens, so we encourage potential adopters to think about where they will be in 10–15 years. ??Our goal isn’t simply to find Stuart a home. ??Our goal is to find him the RIGHT home—the one that will love him for his entire life. ??If you think Stuart Little might be your perfect companion, please fill out an application at ??WWW.NBSTR.ORG?? He may be little… but his heart is BIG enough to fill a forever home. ??Fostered in Southeastern WI
