Dog Finder

I am a very sweet boy who was adopted here as a young puppy two years ago. Now, I am back through no fault of my own; my owner was facing personal issues. I should mention that I am both crate-trained and house-trained, walk like an absolute gentleman on a leash, and am great with children of all ages! I enjoy car rides, playing in the yard, and going for walks and adventures. I also know some basic commands, such as “sit,” “come,” and “stay.” I have a gentle and affectionate personality. Coming back to the shelter has been an adjustment for me, and loud noises or a lot of commotion can make me unsure at first. But I don't stay guarded for long. I'll settle in and stand for pets, and even when another dog came bounding up to me, I only backed away for a moment before coming right back for a cautious sniff. Give me a little patience, and I'll show you my careful, curious side. All I need is a chance to show you how special I am, and I am really hoping my next chapter will be forever this time. If you have space in your home and heart for a loyal companion with a playful, loving spirit, I would love to be your new best friend! Weight: 83.2 pounds
