*Name: Gloria *Age: 3 years old *Current Weight: 48lbs *Rescued from: South Carolina, fostered in NY! *Adoption fee: $475 Meet Gloria — a sweet, affectionate girl with a heart as big as her adorable smile. Surrendered to a rural South Carolina shelter when her owner could no longer care for her nearly a year ago, Gloria sat waiting and hoping for a second chance with a family who will love her forever. As she saw other dogs come and go, she stayed and had no interest, but that was no fault of her own. One of our trusted rescue partners couldn't stand to see her waiting any longer and reached out for our help. Fresh off her transport to New York, it's clear Gloria as incredibly loving, gentle, and polite. She’s the kind of dog who’s happiest by your side — whether that means joining you for playtime, soaking up belly rubs, or simply being your loyal companion through everyday life. Gloria's playful and sweet spirit, and her easygoing personality make her a joy to be around. Gloria is currently carrying a few extra pounds, so she’d thrive with a forever family willing to help her on a healthy weight-loss journey. With some walks, play sessions, and lots of encouragement, this girl will be feeling her best in no time. Even better? Gloria gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats, making her a great fit for many different homes. More than anything, she’s looking for someone to love — and someone who will love her right back. Could Gloria be your new best friend?
