Happy at the tiny age of just under 8 weeks of age has truly seen it all. It’s absolutely shocking and disturbing what these dogs endure but they fight for their lives. Soul destroying to think of what she has been through and yet she still loves human beings even after everything they have done to her. We cannot even begin to imagine what Happy witnessed and heard when she was at the slaughterhouse. Happy ended up in a slaughterhouse with another 19 dogs including her little schnauzer sister Maggie and we know it was a breeder and they were sold for human consumption and yes you did read that correctly. What we do know is, she was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. One of her volunteers went in and rescued Happy and these other beautiful souls. Without this heartfelt lady going in and getting them all out we all know what the outcome would have been.
Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated and absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Happy and many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in and getting Happy out, her fate was a torturous death. We believe every sweet soul such as Happy her sister and her friends deserves to be loved and cherished and given the chance to have a wonderful life.
Now Happy is looking for a special family to cherish her and be patient with her and remember what this beautiful soul has been through and a family that meets all her needs.
Happy was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends and just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in and day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough.
Happy was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen and is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home.
This girl is the biggest sweetheart you will ever meet, because my oh my has her life changed. She just wants you to love her and she will love you back. She adores being hugged and held because the reality is we are the first real people in her life to show her such true love and affection apart from the short time she and Maggie were in their foster home in China.
When she finds people who love her they become her world. Happy adores both of her foster mum and dad. She also comes running if she hears her foster mum start talking and it’s so funny to see her do this. Happy loves to be held by her foster mum and will fall asleep so quickly while she is holding her.
Happy sleeps in the foot of the bed with her foster siblings all curled up and doesn’t move through the night. She must be able to sleep in bed with her new forever family.
She loves to run and play with his foster siblings and her sister and must go to a home with another young dog in the home.
She loves a good outfit and will get ready for you to put one on her.
Happy eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats and supplements. She also enjoys collagen sticks and bully sticks.
All of his treats are homemade.
Since being in the rescue and eating her clean diet she has put on weight.
Happy has been taught to walk on harness and leash and has been doing wonderful. He would need continued work walking on his harness and leash. Happy is a rescue and will need patience, time and; understanding. Happy adores being pampered and doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning her eyes, grooming her, baths, the hairdryer she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general and adores receiving love.
Having toys and a warm bed is all new to Happy and we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys and lots of love and affection and a loving environment. So far he has started showing interest in toys in her foster home and loves them.
Happy has learnt to ride in the car and does well in the car and enjoys a good car ride. She is such an amazing, loving little lady. With Happy we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lady only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this little lady. We are also looking for a forever home for Happy where someone is home during the day or Happy can go with her people wherever possibly she can go with them.
Happy is looking for a forever home who will cherish her and love her as she should be loved and be very patient with her and understanding.
Happy has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes and sizes and he is currently with other dogs and enjoys their company in her devoted foster home. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings and loves to be carried around. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Happy’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home.
Happy is now roughly 9 lbs and; is 8 months old and possibly a miniture schnauzer puppy and what she is mixed with we are not sure? She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHLPP, rabies and dewormed.
Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs.
We have spent over $2700 on Happy with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare paying for her medical care, including, shots, getting her well, spay microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering.
Happy has been around cats since being in the rescue and did well but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have had Happy with small children and she did amazing and loved the little boy in his foster home but we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children and animals.
We were not there when Happy was conceived so we do not know who her parents were and it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures and decide what they think her breed is.
As with all of our rescues and Happy’s friends she will need work on potty training and training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on and commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life and that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Happy potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.
We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past and what they have been through and what they will need in their daily lives and not willing to give up on them and if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training and not just say they will when applying.
Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Happy and going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end and are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on and remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview and a virtual home visit using Zoom followed by a meet and greet and if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Happy who understands his needs and that meet all the requirements for this lovely sweet soul.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives and please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt.
Happy has an adoption fee of $995 and is ready for her truly loving forever home and compassion and understanding of what she has been through.
