Say hello to Tangelo, a 1-year old, 52-pound Border Collie/Lab mix who is happy, goofy, smart, loving, and adorable…all wrapped up together in one amazing, furry, black-and-white package. And if you’re into cute freckles, he’s got that too! :-) Tangelo is friendly, affectionate, housebroken, crate-trained, and extremely gentle. He’s lovely around other dogs…and kids too…and gives out kisses like they’re going out of style. Sometimes too many! Tangelo loves being played with and pet in equal measure, and once he’s good and tired, he’ll curl up beside you like a soft sack of flour and take a little snooze. He’s got so many great qualities! An outdoorsy sort, Tangelo enjoys getting fresh air and is learning how to walk nicely on a leash. Treat motivated and eager to please, Tangelo responds to sit and down, and he comes when you call his name. He has been discovering what fun it can be to play with toys, and he’s even able to entertain himself if no one is available to amuse him. He’s that easy! Tangelo is still coming into his own and figuring out his place in the world. With each passing day, his confidence continues to grow, and his true personality emerges. From everything he has shown thus far, he is one truly special dog who deserves a home of his own with humans who will love and cherish him the way he will love and cherish them in return.
