Dog Finder

What a beauty! Say hi to Chickory, a 4-year old, 35-pound German Shepherd mix who is a cuddly, curious, sweetheart of a dog. The ideal size and age, Chickory is housebroken, travels well, and responds to the commands stay and come. Easy peazy! Friendly toward humans - - and especially other dogs - - Chickory loves spending time with others, particularly a playful canine or two. A full-time doggy pal would make this girly soooo very happy. More of a country bumpkin than a city slicker, Chickory seems to be fairly adaptable, but would probably prefer a home in the suburbs where she’d be free to sniff, stroll. and romp around in peace. Affectionate to the max, Chickory lovvvves being pet, massaged and scratched. She has a healthy appetite and appreciates any treat you offer her. She shares her toys, bedding, and blankets with ease, and has a funny habit of taking her possessions from one place to another. It’s really adorable. Chickory has been settling in nicely, but unfamiliarity can cause her to become a bit nervous. The support and guidance of a kind, loving human will help this low-key angel continue to gain the confidence she needs to be the best version of herself. She’s already made tremendous progress! With so many positive attributes, Chickory will bring so much happiness to her new family. If you’re willing to show her the way, she’s ready to hand you her paw…as well as her heart of pure gold.
