At 6 months old and 20-ish pound (as of 10/14), Atlanta is a Terrier/Lab mix (with a little mystery mixed in!) who's already mastered the art of stealing hearts. Her mom is a 35-pound mixed breed, so we expect Atlanta to stay on the smaller side while growing into the perfect adventure-and-snuggle companion. If you're looking for an easygoing puppy, Atlanta may just be your girl. She's the more mellow sibling, happy to follow her canine friends wherever they go before settling in for a cozy nap. While she definitely has those adorable puppy zoomies and loves a good wrestling match with her dog buddies, she's just as content curling up in a dog bed or snuggling next to her favorite people. Atlanta absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion to show her the ropes. She loves to cuddle up beside them, play chase in the yard, and learn by following their lead. She's also wonderful with kids and adults alike, although she can be a little shy when meeting new people. Give her a little patience and a few gentle pets, and you'll quickly discover the sweet, affectionate puppy hiding behind those cautious first impressions. This smart little girl is already crate trained, puppy pad trained, and doing a fantastic job learning that potty time happens outside too. Her foster thinks she'll be a breeze to fully house train since she's already showing great habits and loves sticking to a routine. Atlanta is quiet, easy to please, and happy to entertain herself when needed. She rarely barks, rides beautifully in the car, has no resource guarding issues, and is the kind of puppy who rolls with whatever the day brings. Whether she's exploring the backyard, cuddling on the couch, or following her favorite dog around the house, Atlanta is simply happy to be part of the family.
