Meet Kenzie! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 10/20, and no one has come to reclaim her. It seems Kenzie may not have had the easiest life, but we're hopeful her next chapter will be filled with the love and care she deserves. She has some skin issues that will hopefully improve with proper nutrition and medicated baths. Kenzie is also heartworm positive, but with treatment and care, she can go on to live a long, happy, and healthy life. Ask shelter staff about the opportunity to foster-to-adopt while she receives treatment. Despite everything, volunteers describe Kenzie as friendly and loving, and she even knows how to sit nicely when asked. This sweet girl deserves a chance at a brighter future! Kenzie is approximately 6 years old and weighs 38 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Kenzie in kennel 879; her ID # is 23523.
