Chance – ID# 22782 – Kennel 800 – Arrived September 22nd, 2026 – American Pit Bull Terrier mix – black and white – Male – 1 year old – 58 lbs (estimated adult weight approximately 65-70 lbs) – Will be neutered prior to adoption – Up to date on vaccines – Heartworm negative Chance is a really nice boy with a sleek black and white coat and warm, expressive eyes. His calm demeanor and easygoing nature make him a joy to be around, even amid the busyness of shelter life. Chance is quiet in his kennel most of the time, taking things in stride with a settled, low-key presence. He's shown himself to be obedient, sitting nicely when asked. He is strong on leash, so a family who can provide some continued leash practice and positive reinforcement will help him become an even more polished walking companion. Chance is house trained, making him an easy addition to a home environment, and his sweet, agreeable nature means he's likely to adapt well to a new routine once he's settled in. At just 1 year old, Chance still has plenty of growing and learning ahead of him, paired with a sweet, agreeable nature that makes him easy to love. He's ready for a family ready to guide him into adulthood with patience and consistency, and who will be rewarded with a loyal companion for years to come.
