Meet Kona, a sweet senior with so much love left to give. ?? At 10 years old, Kona has found himself starting over in a world he never expected. Surrendered to the county shelter by his owner, Kona spent two months there struggling to adjust to his new reality. He lost a significant amount of weight and arrived at Living Free a very thin, frightened boy who wasn't quite sure who he could trust. But with time, patience, and a whole lot of love, Kona is slowly finding his way back to himself. He's beginning to gain weight, let his guard down, and show us the goofy personality that's been hiding beneath all that worry. And we're discovering some of his favorite things along the way! ?? Kona loves to play fetch, but if there's one way to win his heart, it's with a good butt scratch. Seriously, this boy LOVES them! Watching him begin to trust again and let his silly side shine has been such a joy, and we're so proud of how far he's come. We'll never know the circumstances that led Kona to the shelter, but we do know that he deserves to feel safe, loved, and wanted. He's a senior boy who has been through a lot of change, and we'd love nothing more than to see him spend his golden years in a home of his own, surrounded by people who will cherish him for the rest of his life. Kona still has so much life and love left to share. Could you be the person who gives this sweet, goofy boy the fresh start he deserves? ??
