Meet Spud! This sassy, spunky sweetheart has a big personality hiding behind a shy first impression. When meeting new people, Spud might try to melt right into the floor, but give him a little time and kindness, and his brave, playful side starts to shine. Once he trusts you, he'll seek out your attention and happily soak up the affection. Belly rubs and nibbling on toes and ears are among his favorite pastimes, and his short, crooked, zigzag tail is as full of personality as he is! Spud loves being part of the action, whether he's hanging out with his people, playing with his foster dog siblings, or soaking up the sunshine outside. But don't let that sweet face fool you—this little guy is also an independent, curious explorer who's always finding something to investigate (and occasionally getting himself into a little trouble along the way!). When he's had his fill of adventures, he seeks out the comfort and safety of his crate, where he settles in to sleep through the night cuddled up with his pillow. He's also shown a remarkable lack of interest in his foster family's chickens, whom he almost completely ignores. Cats, however, are still a mystery! Spud is still a baby, and he'll need a family ready to offer patience, grace, gentle guidance, and plenty of training as he grows. He's eager to learn when he isn't busy discovering the world around him. With time and love, this sweet boy is ready to blossom into someone's very best friend. Spud is being fostered in Centennial, CO. He can't wait to meet you! ##2836576##
