Spencer is a handsome 6-month-old Labrador Retriever mix with a gentle, loving personality. He can be calm and sweet, loves spending time with people, and gets along great with other dogs. Spencer came to the shelter as a neglected stray, and unfortunately, his rough start shows in the condition of his coat. But that's only temporary! He's receiving the care he needs, and before long, we know that coat will be looking healthy and handsome again. What Spencer needs most now is something every puppy deserves—a forever family to love him. At only six months old, he has so much life ahead of him and is at a wonderful age for training, bonding, and growing into a cherished family companion. Spencer dreams of a backyard where he can play, people who will make him feel safe and loved, and a home where he'll never have to wonder if someone cares about him again. Spencer’s adoption fee is $125 and includes first vaccinations, worming, microchip, and neuter. We have a dog park to check compatibility with possible sibling dogs. Please fill out an adoption application with Heber Springs Humane Society and a volunteer will contact you in 2-3 days.
