Luna is a beautiful 3-year old female German Shepherd who was brought to the HSOV on October 8th 2026 by a Good Samaritan who found her on State Route 550 in the Cutler Ohio area. Luna was microchipped but was not reclaimed by her owner. Luna has a black shorthaired coat with tan markings on her chest/legs, a long tail, and a gorgeous German Shepherd face with copper-colored eyes, a long slender muzzle, and extra-large erect ears. These photos of Luna were taken on October 12th 2026 when HSOV Shelter Manager Tracy Lynn Moore accompanied her for outdoor glamour pictures. Luna looked very regal and posed like royalty for her Petfinder/Adoptapet/Facebook debuts. Luna is an intelligent girl who quickly obeyed the 'sit' command and was very attentive and polite. Luna has a friendly disposition and a sweet personality. She is fairly big girl who weighs perhaps 65-70 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Luna was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family would have an opportunity to reclaim her. Since she was not reclaimed, Luna went home with a foster family on October 14th who plans to adopt her after she is spayed.
