Marigold is a cute 6-year old female mixed breed (possible Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier mix) who was picked up on Main Street in Belpre Ohio by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff along with Marigold's companion (Gardinia) who may be her daughter. Both girls were transported to HSOV on October 9th 2026. Marigold and Gardinia were wearing nice flea collars, but they were not wearing id/dog license tags nor were they microchipped. Marigold has a golden brown-and-white coat, a long tail, and a beautiful white face with brown eyes, a liver-colored nose, a patch of brown around her right eye, and cute short 'folded-over' ears. These photos of Marigold were taken on the afternoon of October 12th 2026 when HSOV Shelter Manager Tracy Lynn Moore accompanied Marigold for her outdoor glamour pictures. This sweet girl has a friendly disposition and posed beautifully for her photo session. Marigold weighs approximately 60-65 lbs, and she walked fairly well on a leash for Tracy. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Marigold and Gardinia were held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that their family would have the opportunity to reclaim them with proof of ownership. Since nobody called or came looking for these girls, we are accepting applications for them. Marigold and Gardinia will be spayed, and we will try our best to find them a loving home.
