Grayson is a cute 6-month old male Pit Bull Terrier mix puppy who was brought to the HSOV on September 13th 2026 during the overnight- or early morning hours. Grayson was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped. Unfortunately, the individual(s) who placed him in an outside kennel did not leave any information about him. This little sweetheart has a gray coat with a large patch of white on his chest/belly, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with soft brown eyes, a tiny white stripe on his muzzle/forehead, a blue/gray nose, and large floppy/horizontal ears. Grayson has the sweetest, most lovable personality and wants attention more than anything else in the world. These photos of Grayson were taken on the afternoon on September 17th when HSOV Shelter Manager Tracy Lynn Moore accompanied him for his Petfinder/Facebook/Adoptapet pictures. It was touching to see Grayson looking up at Tracy with his beautiful puppy eyes to beg for attention (and naturally it worked like a charm) (Smile). Grayson weighs 30 lbs and is still perfecting his walking-on-a-leash skills. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Grayson was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that his family would have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership .. But nobody called or came looking for this sweet youngster. Update: Grayson went home with a foster family on October 25th 2026 so that he could enjoy the comfort/companionship of a real family home instead of a shelter kennel/floor crate. Grayson is still available for foster/foster-to-adopt with an approved HSOV adoption application.
