Dog Finder

This beautiful one-year old female Labrador Retriever mix (who has been given the name Jade) was brought to the HSOV on September 8th 2026 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden who picked her up at 430 Cemetery Road in New Matamoras Ohio. Jade was wearing a pink/rose-colored collar but there was neither and ID tag nor a dog tag on the collar. We were optimistic when a microchip was detected but it turned out that her owner's information as registered was no longer current. This young lady has a tan coat with a small patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and a cute face with dark brown eyes, a dark brown/black button nose, and short floppy ears. Thanks to HSOV Kennel Tech Liz Stingley for spending time with Jade for her glamour photos late in the afternoon on September 9th 2026. Jade was rather energetic on a leash but after expending a little energy, she posed quite nicely for pictures. Jade weighs 65 lbs. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Jade was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family would have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Sadly, nobody called or came looking for Jade.
