Dog Finder

Skye is a beautiful 8-year old female Hound mix who was brought to the HSOV on September 5th 2026 after she was found on Braun Road in the Belpre Ohio area taking a stroll by herself. Skye was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped. This lovely girl has a brindle-and-white coat, a short docked tail, and the most adorable white face which is framed by her large floppy brindle ears. Skye's left eye is sky blue and her right eye is brown which gives her a very unique appearance. Skye also has the nicest smile. Someone who was familiar with Skye reported that she is good with other dogs (and their outside cats) .. And that she has already been spayed. These photos of Skye were taken on the afternoon of September 9th when HSOV Volunteer Angel Grosklos accompanied Skye for outdoor photos. Skye was 'over the moon' happy to be with Angel and made the most of her 15-minutes of fame during her photo session. Skye is a fairly big girl who weighs 70 lbs. She is fairly strong on a leash. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Skye was held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family would have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Surprisingly, Skye was not reclaimed.
