Dolly is a sweet, gentle hound mix who greets the world nose first. Give her a walk through the high desert grass and she’ll read every scent along the way, those long velvet ears swinging as she goes. Then she’ll look up at you with warm amber eyes under tan eyebrows, and it’s all over. Dolly is as soft-natured as they come, and she’s not as stubborn as some hounds, so while that nose may set the route, she’s happy to bring you along for the ride. If you’re looking for a kind, easygoing companion for slow, sniffy walks and quiet evenings, Dolly may be your girl. Her adoption fee is $135, and like all HDHS dogs, she’ll be spayed prior to adoption. Call High Desert Humane Society at 575-538-9261 to meet her!
