Meet Rowdy, a handsome one-year-old pit mix with a glossy black-and-white coat, warm amber eyes, a freckled pink muzzle, and big white paws he’s still growing into. Despite the name, Rowdy is a very sweet boy at heart. He’s still young, though, so he’ll do best with an adopter who has the time and patience to guide him through the rest of his adolescence with plenty of exercise, training, and affection. Give him that, and you’ll have a loyal companion for all your high desert adventures. Rowdy’s adoption fee is $125. Like all HDHS dogs, he will be altered prior to adoption. To meet Rowdy, call High Desert Humane Society at 575-538-9261.
