ALICE-Special Needs/Sponsors IMPORTANT: The Nature Network Inc. is a small 501c3 non-profit no-kill organization. Most animals we rescue are abandoned at the pound, who no one wants--seniors and special-needs. 100% of all funds are used for them—extensive veterinary and medical costs, prescription meds, rehab, special foods, supplements, and more. We are deeply grateful for help. To meet us, help us, or if you know people or businesses who would like to, please contact us at: [email protected] (Also our PayPal Giving email address for donation and sponsorship). Mailing: The Nature Network Inc., 3826 Grand View Blvd., #66790, Los Angeles, CA 90066. All donations are used for our rescued animals. No funds are used for salaries, advertising, social media, or human expenses. All of us, including board members, are volunteers. Our veterinary references are available upon request. ALICE is a Jack Russell/Bull Terrier unusual mix. Alice is sponsorship only at this point, as she has damaged ankles and toes and her right eye needed to be removed. She was rescued from one of the Los Angeles City Animal Shelters just in time. She was slated for death because they claimed she was still on medication, which in fact she no longer was! Alice now receives cold laser treatment to her various joints every week which has enabled her to move about well and be able to walk more smoothly without the pain that she had before. Her treatment has also shrunk the swelling on her ankle joints. Her right eye was beginning to cause pain and no longer responding to 5 different glaucoma medications for over a year and had to be removed. Her remaining left eye is now healthier, and she can see out of it much better. Since Alice has damaged/deformed toes and feet, and missing her right eye, gets ongoing cold laser treatment, and various eye medications to keep her left eye healthy, we need sponsors who would like to help her..
