Oh my, Nelly and all her black speckles are darling! She is estimated to about 2 years old and weighs 25 pounds. Meet Nelly, more of a shy, serious little girl with a heart full of hope and dreams! This young, adorable pup may be a bit timid and nervous right now, but with time, patience, and lots of love, she's ready to show you just how amazing she can be. Nelly is very needy and craves reassurance, so she's looking for a leader who can provide her with the comfort and guidance she needs to build her confidence. When she is a little scared or unsure about things, she loves nothing more than to crawl into your lap to feel safe. Nelly's journey to becoming a confident, happy dog is just beginning, and she's hoping to find a forever home where she can continue to grow and thrive. Nelly would love it if you came to meet her, she can't wait to have a family to love. She will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old with her timid, more serious nature. We think you will find Nelly's cute face and her short little legs absolutely irresistible! If you are interested in Nelly and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
