Dog Finder

Save a spot in the car for Sanders! ???? The volunteers who take this handsome boy on outings get to see a side of him most visitors miss. With someone he trusts, Sanders walks beautifully on a leash and loves going for rides. He also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and cats. Sanders was found as a stray and has been at the ranch since May. The ranch believes he comes from three generations of homeless dogs who ran stray. Around most people, his instinct is still to find a place to hide. If you come to meet him, he may spend the whole visit tucked away. But a few volunteers have kept showing up for him, and little by little, he’s grown less timid around them. A familiar face bringing dinner is especially welcome. ?? Sanders needs someone with the time and patience to build that trust from the beginning. That means being there for him even on the days he’d rather stay hidden and letting him choose when to come closer. If you’d treasure the first time he decides to stay beside you, however long it takes, reach out to the ranch. We’d love to introduce you to Sanders and learn more about him from the volunteers who know him best. ??
