Brenda's Story ?? Brenda's story began before she ever opened her eyes. Her mama, Sweet Pea, was found dumped with puppies already by her side—and she was pregnant again. Sweet Pea had been left to survive and care for her babies with no one to help her. Brenda was born after Sweet Pea came into our care, safe from the life her mama had been trying so hard to survive. She has never had to wonder where her next meal would come from or whether someone would protect her. Now Brenda is waiting for the one thing we can't give her forever—a family of her very own. ???? Her mama fought to give her a chance at life. Now Brenda just needs someone to give her a chance at forever.
