Meet Millie, a 4-month-old, 12-lb black Lab mix with the gentlest little soul and a whole lifetime of love waiting ahead of her. Millie was found alongside her sisters in a rough area of Puerto Rico, where these tiny babies were left to fend for themselves in a place no puppy should ever have to survive. With no safe home to sleep in and no family to protect them, their future was uncertain. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in and gave these sweet girls the second chance they deserved. Millie is an incredibly sweet little girl who just needs a moment to feel comfortable. She can be a bit shy at first, but once she realizes you're a friend, her playful, loving personality begins to shine. She absolutely loves other dogs, and having furry friends around helps bring out her happy puppy side. At just 12 lbs, Millie is still a little baby with so much growing, learning, and loving ahead of her. She deserves a family who will give her the patience to blossom and the affection she has been missing. Millie is available for adoption in the New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, and Connecticut areas. This little girl has already experienced what it's like to be unwanted and unsafe. Now all she needs is someone to show her that the world can be kind, that hands are meant for loving, and that she will never have to wonder where she belongs again.
