Big dog. Big heart. Big Lab energy. ?? Meet Blue! Blue is a 4-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever who we believe is purebred — and at 93 pounds, he is definitely a BIG Lab! This handsome guy loves balls, toys, playtime, and staying busy. He has lots of energy and would be a great match for someone looking for an active companion who enjoys getting outside and playing with their dog. Blue has been working with a trainer and knows his basic commands. He has also been leash trained, giving his future family a great foundation to continue working with him. At this time, Blue does not get along with other dogs and should be the only dog in the home. We are being upfront about this because finding the right home for Blue is incredibly important to us. Blue is currently boarding, and what he really needs now is a comfortable foster, foster-to-adopt, or forever home where he can decompress and experience life outside of a boarding environment. Blue has not yet been neutered. We have intentionally waited because we want him to have a clean, comfortable, low-stress place to recover rather than having surgery while he is boarding. Once we find the right foster or forever home for him, we will get Blue neutered. We are looking for a foster, foster-to-adopt, or forever home that can give this big, energetic boy structure, exercise, continued training, and — most importantly — a chance to finally feel at home. If you’re a Lab lover looking for a big, goofy, playful companion who can be your one-and-only dog, Blue may be your guy! ????
