Meet Doug! Doug is a handsome Coonhound mix with a gentle heart and a sweet, endearing personality. He’s a friendly boy who can be a little unsure of himself at first, but once he feels safe, his desire to connect really shines through. Doug wants to please and looks to his people for guidance and reassurance. A patient, encouraging approach will help him build confidence and discover what a good boy he can be. He’s the kind of dog who may need a little time to settle in, but underneath that uncertainty is a loving companion just waiting to blossom. Doug is ready for a person who will give him the time, patience, and love he needs to come out of his shell. In return, he’ll give you his whole heart.
