?? Meet Flash ? If you are looking for a calm, low key couch potato… keep scrolling. If you are looking for a hilarious, athletic, slightly chaotic best friend with main character energy… meet Flash. Flash is exactly what his name suggests. Fast. Very fast. Blink and he is across the yard. He is strong, bouncy, goofy, and 100% convinced life is one big playground. He is also still very much a teenager learning his manners. Think “sweet, lovable goofball” with a side of “parkour enthusiast.” We are working on impulse control and basic training every day and he is actually doing awesome. The best part? Flash LOVES to learn. He is super food and treat motivated and picks things up quickly. So far he has mastered sit, is doing great with his crate, and has had zero potty accidents in his foster home. He is currently learning place, wait, down, and off... and making great progress every day. He adores toys and plays hard, especially with plush ones. (Stuffed toys beware. You have been warned.) He also loves chasing a tennis ball and will happily bring it back for round after round of fetch. He would thrive with someone who enjoys training, enrichment games, and giving a smart young dog a job to do. The shelter estimated him just over 2 years old, but based on his energy and puppy teeth, we suspect he may actually be closer to 10 to 14 months. Which explains the zoomies, the hops, and the “let’s goooo!” attitude. Flash would do best with an active home that can keep up with his athleticism and continue his training. He has not yet been tested with other dogs or kids, so slow introductions are recommended. If you want a loyal sidekick for walks, hikes, training sessions, and lots of laughs, Flash is your guy. With structure and love, he is going to grow into an incredible dog. Bonus: he looks very proud of himself when he nails a command. It is ridiculously cute. ?
