They say your name can tell a story. But for Lucky, we’re hoping his name becomes a promise of everything beautiful that’s still waiting for him. ????. Lucky was left outside during the hurricane. As the storm raged, he became trapped in his kennel with trees lying over it. Imagine being stuck, surrounded by destruction, with nowhere to run and no way to understand why the world around you was falling apart. ?????. For a dog named Lucky, that’s a heartbreaking amount of fear and uncertainty to endure. But today, we want to talk about something bigger than what happened to him. We want to talk about what could happen NEXT. ??. ?? The day Lucky walks through the door of his forever home. ?? The first night he falls asleep in a warm bed, knowing he is safe.?? The moment he realizes these people are HIS people, and they aren't going anywhere.?? The ordinary, beautiful days when being loved becomes the only life he knows. That’s the kind of luck we want for this boy. Not a lucky escape from a storm. Not simply making it through another difficult day. We want Lucky to hit the jackpot of life: a family who loves him unconditionally and chooses him forever. ????. He didn’t get to choose the circumstances he faced, but someone out there can choose HIM. Maybe that someone is you. Maybe it’s your friend, your neighbor, or the person who sees this post because you decided to share it.
