Spots, sweetness, and a whole lot of puppy personality! At 5 months old and 25 pounds, Guage is a handsome Dalmatian pup who is ready to find his forever family. He's a sweet boy who loves other dogs, and if you have a tennis ball, you've already found the way to his heart! Guage LOVES retrieving a ball and would be happy to keep the game going as long as you'll let him. He's already off to a good start with his manners. He's kennel trained and almost housebroken, although he'll need a little more consistency and practice to get that completely figured out. Now, let's talk about that Dalmatian personality! Guage is a confident little guy who can be a bit dominant, even at this young age. He'll need an adopter who is willing to provide structure, set clear boundaries, and teach him that he's a beloved member of the family, not the CEO of the household! Obedience classes are strongly recommended to help him develop into a well-mannered adult. We also recommend a home with older children who can understand and respect his boundaries as he continues to grow and learn. Guage has all the makings of a fantastic companion. He's sweet, playful, smart, and full of potential. He just needs a family who will give him the guidance, consistency, and love he needs to become the best version of himself. Bonus points if you have a backyard, a ball, and plenty of time for fetch! ❤️ Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more) - not just until his puppy cuteness wears off. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Like most puppies, he may chew on anything within his reach to include but not limited to baseboards, shoes, socks, children's toys, electrical cords, plants, etc. His adoption fee is $300. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccinations, Bravecto®, Drontal® Plus, Tri-Heart® Plus Chewable Tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, leash and collar, and a trial offer for 24PetWatch® Pet Insurance. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232.  Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additional questions may be directed to [email protected]. ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX.
