Dog Finder

Meet “Material Girl” Taffeta! Sweet Taffeta is a 7-year-old girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and wonderful place. She is a very shy, scared little girl, but we’re already seeing glimpses of the sweet dog underneath that uncertainty. Taffeta is learning so much by watching the other dogs around her. Their confidence is helping her discover that she doesn’t have to be afraid, and she is making progress every day. We’re still getting to know this precious girl, but we have a feeling it won’t be long before she realizes that people can be trusted and starts making her way over for some love. Taffeta will need a patient, understanding family who will give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell. She may not be the girl who runs up to greet you on day one, but watching a shy dog learn to trust and blossom is one of the most rewarding things in rescue. She may be a little scared right now, but this little Material Girl has plenty of love waiting to be discovered. Taffeta is still writing her story—and we can't wait to see how beautiful it becomes. Please apply at tzuzoorescue.com if you are interested in adopting from Tzu Zoo Rescue. More information available by contacting [email protected]. [NOTE: We are a rescue NOT a shelter, meaning WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
