Meet Guerra, a beautiful girl waiting for her forever home! Guerra is 2.5 years old, weighs 40 lbs, and is a gentle, loving, loyal girl with so much affection to give. She is sweet, confident, playful, and curious about the world around her. She loves exploring, discovering new things, and being part of whatever her people are doing. Most of all, she loves being close to her humans and soaking up their love and attention. Guerra is currently being fostered in Danbury, CT, in a lively family home with three other dogs and two cats. She has adjusted beautifully to family life and loves playing with her canine foster siblings. She is neutral around cats and absolutely adores her foster parents. She loves being near them and is happiest when she can spend time by their side. Before arriving in foster care, Guerra spent over a year in an overcrowded shelter, watching puppy after puppy leave for their forever homes while she continued to wait. After being abandoned on the streets, Guerra was rescued by SOS El Arca Animal Rescue and finally given the safety and care she deserved. Now that she has experienced life in a loving home, we want nothing more than for her to have a family of her own. Guerra is friendly with other dogs and loves to play. She is also wonderful with children and enjoys their company. Because she can sometimes get excited and jump during playtime, a home with children ages 8 and older would be best. She is intelligent, eager to please, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. With her affectionate, playful, and easygoing personality, Guerra could be a wonderful addition to many different types of families. Guerra is fully vetted. She is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, 4DX tested, and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention (Simparica). After waiting so long for someone to choose her, Guerra is finally getting a taste of what it means to be part of a family. She has so much love to give and deserves a home where she will be cherished for the rest of her life.
