Meet Todd – Your New Best Friend! Hi there! My name is Todd, and I'm a sweet, easygoing boy who is ready to find a family to call my own! If you're looking for a loving companion with a calm personality and a heart full of love, I might just be your guy!I'm a laid-back gentleman who enjoys all the attention you're willing to give. I absolutely love affection, and if you stop petting me, don't be surprised if I roll right over and offer you my belly! Belly rubs are definitely one of my favorite things! I'm also a very gentle treat-taker and walk beautifully on a leash, making me a wonderful buddy for leisurely strolls and relaxing days at home.I'm a big fan of people, including kiddos! I've done great with young children and would love a family where I can soak up all the love and attention. I also get along wonderfully with other dogs, so having a canine companion could be lots of fun! I'm a pretty calm guy overall, but I still enjoy making friends and having a little playtime.I do have one thing I'd like my future family to know. I've tested positive for heartworm and have already started my treatment. I'm still the same sweet, happy boy, and I'm hoping someone will look past this temporary bump in the road and give me the chance to find my forever home.More than anything, I want a family to love, a cozy place to relax, and plenty of belly rubs along the way. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. We require all dogs currently residing in the home to meet prior to adoption to ensure it is a good fit. My adoption fee is $100.
