Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with Humans: She isn't very shy and truly adores people! She approaches first to ask for pets and accepts affectionate, enthusiastic touch very well. * Interaction with Dogs: With a calm and gentle disposition, she prefers quiet environments and doesn't engage in rough play with dog friends. If other dogs zoom around or play boisterously near her, she steps away or clearly expresses her discomfort. * Interaction with Cats: She has not yet been introduced to cats, so her exact reaction is unknown. * Separation Anxiety: Since she is currently living in a group setting at the shelter, her individual anxiety levels are unknown. Structured independence training may be needed from day one in a home environment. * Potty Training: She currently handles her business strictly outdoors at the shelter. Retraining may be needed upon moving into a home setting. * Grooming & Hygiene: She behaves very well and stays calm during brushing and nail trims. * Leash Walking: She walks wonderfully on the leash without pulling, and she pays little attention even when encountering birds during walks! * Motion Sickness: She rides comfortably in the car without any signs of motion sickness. * Biting/Aggression: She has shown zero biting tendencies. * Barking: She occasionally barks when treats are being handed out. If dog friends bother or crowd her, she gives a warning growl. * Personality & Tendencies: Rather than playing with fellow dogs, she has a calm personality who prefers enjoying her alone time or staying close by a human's side. She loves receiving pets and thoroughly enjoys treat time!
