About Hayoon

?Currently located in South Korea?? ??Available to fly to U.S. and Canada?? ?? Name: Hayoon ?? Gender: Female ?? Age: Estimated 3 years old (Born in July 2023) ?? Weight: 12 kg / 26.46 lb ?? Hayoon's News Account: @hy260801 1?? Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and heartworm negative. 2?? Rescue Story * Hayoon lived at the Jeongeup City Shelter for nearly two years without anyone offering her a home. When she was eventually placed on the euthanasia list, Adogs stepped in urgently to save her life. 3?? Basic Information * With People: Is timid around strangers but tolerates touch when approached slowly. May feel flustered or surprised during handling other than gentle petting or being picked up. Feels less shy with women rather than men. When petted by familiar people, she happily wags her tail and stays still even when their hind paws are touched. * With Dogs: Though she doesn't approach dogs proactively, she is more relaxed with them than with human. Gets scared of dogs that approach too aggressively or bark. * With Cats: Is nonreactive with cats and passes them by. * Separation Anxiety: Even when left alone, she quietly rests or plays with nosework toys. Although she may occasionally have an accident if startled by a sudden loud noise, there are no signs of separation anxiety, such as barking or whining. * Potty Training: Potties both indoors and outdoors. Since indoor pottying is still in the practice stage, accidents happen occasionally. Is sensitive to ambient noise and gets startled easily, so she tends to only potty in quiet places when outside. * Hygiene: Patiently tolerates baths, blow-drying, and coat brushing even if slightly uncomfortable. Her paws and rear area are sensitive, so she especially dislikes nail clipping or bath time. * Walks: Likes going for walks and waits by the door when she hears that it’s walk time. Is a great walker and doesn’t pull on the leash. Lately, she walks right in step with foster family, almost at a power-walking pace. * Car Sickness: Has a little bit of motion sickness when going for short car rides. * Biting: If she feels overly uncomfortable, she may gently touch her mouth to a hand. * Barking: Hasn’t barked or whined. * Personality: Though quiet and shy, she is a total sweetheart who doesn't shy away from human touch and enjoys affection. At the current foster home, she is learning how to live with people and how to give and receive love. Is scared of sudden movements and noises, and is scared of the sound of cars. Is uncomfortable when moved from her spot when she’s sitting.
