From Terrified Puppy to Everyone's Best Friend: Meet Alberto Born on May 16, 2025, Alberto is fully grown at 41 pounds and ready to find the loving family he deserves. Alberto, his mother, and his littermates originally came to San Felipe Dog Rescue while plans were being made for them to travel to a foster home in Nevada. Unfortunately, those plans never materialized, and the family remained with us. When they first arrived, Alberto and his siblings were terrified of people. With patience, love, and daily interaction, they blossomed into wonderful, confident dogs. Their transformation was so remarkable that they earned a place in our front general population area, where they spend their days socializing with more than 20 other dogs. Alberto is one of the first dogs to greet visitors. He loves meeting new people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is always happy to make a new friend. His friendly nature and easygoing personality make him a joy to be around. He can be transported upon request.`
