?? Meet Baer — the big, lovable couch potato looking for his next chapter! ?? Baer is an 8-year-old pittie with a heart as big as his 96-pound frame, and he’s looking for a foster home (or forever home) where he can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. This handsome guy is the definition of an easygoing companion. Baer doesn’t need a busy lifestyle or endless adventures — he’s happiest simply being near his people, soaking up attention, and finding the coziest spot in the house for one of his many daily naps. ?? He’s potty trained, neutered, microchipped, healthy, and ready to show someone just how special he is. Baer loves treats, but what he loves even more is getting pets and spending quality time with his humans. He’s affectionate, loyal, and just wants to be included in the everyday moments that make a house feel like home. Baer has spent his life around kids and has been wonderful with them. He has also lived with other dogs and previously shared his home with two canine siblings for several years. His history with cats is unknown, but his gentle personality and love for companionship make him a great candidate for the right introduction. Looking for a first-time foster? Baer could be your perfect match. ?? He doesn’t need someone to teach him how to be a good dog — he already knows. He just needs someone willing to open their home, give him a comfy place to rest his paws, and remind him that he’s loved. VPRP provides the supplies, support, and resources you need to help a dog like Baer thrive. All he needs is a person willing to give him a chance. ??
